Men should be dressing like their clothes were made for them, not washed or rinsed, according to a new study.
The study by the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) has found that men’s clothing should be made to be washed and rinses to ensure it is clean, according the New York Times.
The NBS study looked at the “fashion industry and the way men dress and interact with each other in the modern world”.
It found that the fashion industry has become much more complex, with more men dressing in a more diverse range of colours and styles, including more men of colour and women.
Women have also become more comfortable with wearing clothes made from a range of materials, from textiles to fabrics, which has made the clothing industry much more attractive to women, the NBS said.
The research showed that women make up 52 per cent of the garment manufacturing workforce in the US, while men make up just 38 per cent.
But, according a report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, that number is likely to be even lower in some industries.
The clothing industry is growing at a rapid rate, with the industry employing more than 5 million people in the United States.
